OK- So this Halloween I spent the first part of my evening at my friends Joyce's house handing out candy to all the kiddies! It was so much fun and I loved seeing all the cute costumes. Now we had a whole set up for the kids complete with scary music and even a steaming witches brew. So every kid that came up, I would first ask if they wanted to cast a spell and then ask then if they wanted candy. The answer to the first question was usually "NO" and the second obviously "YES". Go figure. I was really trying to get them into the whole casting a spell thing... you know a spell asking for loads of candy or "A's" on their tests...nothing too spooky :) In an effort to get them going I started showing them how it worked. With a crowd ole about 8 kids deep I said as I hovered my hands over the pot " Abra
Kadaba Damn"! Yep I cursed
accidentally at the children. Seriously not ready for kids
obviously :)
jk But the funniest (I know that is not a word) part was that two of the older kids in the group, 12 year old girls, just started giggling. Poor little 3 year old Superman in front of me had no clue and just put out his little paw for some more M&Ms and Skittles :) Oh a Halloween for the memory book!
Hope all of yours were great!
Until next time... Blog On!
