OK, so last week I was in Mobile, AL for work and I had a first happen to me that I have forgotten to share. I arrive to the airport and get my luggage and check in with the rental car company to get my keys. I walk out to the parking lot and start to get a little worried as the rental car selection looks pretty slim and it couldn't be the one way out there..nah couldn't be. Walking, walking....looking for F20....Yep, it could be. They had put me in a minivan. You know the Dodge Caravan queen bee minivan. I mean it is slightly my fault as I requested an intermediate car vs the compact ones (ya'll know my driving record), but really a minivan? I feel like if they are going to put you in a minivan it should be a special request type of situation. So I walk the long parking lot back to the terminal to see about getting this fixed. And you guessed it, no such luck. I was stuck with the minivan. So me and "Marg", that's what I called her, spent the week together making our way around ole Bama. So while I've said I would never drive a minivan, I guess I revoke this comment and tweak it just a bit. "I will never own a minivan." The rest is sometimes out of your control. :)Until next time... This made my day when I read it. I would have been mortified, but at least you were safe...they've got airbags out the wazoo in those things!
that same thing has happened to me! dodge caravans have some get up and go to them though! :)
